Reward system
Smilo’s Quake will make use of the Smilo blockchain reward system, which will connect your virtual rewards to the real world! Meaning that you will be able to win Smilo (XSM) during your Smilo Quake games. So, how does it work?
Well, Smilo Quake will contain four different Quake servers with increasing player difficulty. Everyone starts off as a ‘Rookie’ and will be able to start climbing the skill ladder to become an ‘Elite’ player.
The Rookie server is the starting server for every player. Here you can start to build your stack of Smilo tokens which you can use to advance to the next server. The Rookie server doesn’t require any deposit of Smilo, but it will reward the top three players of a specific round as follows:
- 1st place 3 XSM
- 2nd place 2 XSM
- 3rd place 1 XSM
Once you think that your skills are good enough for more of a challenge, you can join the Advanced, Pro, or Elite server. To play on these servers, you will need to deposit a specific amount of Smilo per round. The deposits range from 1 XSM to 100 XSM and the entire pool of deposits will then be distributed as follows:
- 1st place 50% of the total deposits of the specific round
- 2nd place 25% of the total deposits of the specific round
- 3rd place 15% of the total deposits of the specific round
As you may have already noticed, 10% of the total deposits of a specific round are not assigned to any winners. This last 10% will flow back to the Rookie server to feed those who haven’t collected enough XSM for the other servers. So, even if you lose all of your tokens, you will be able to go back to the Rookie server to win everything back!
By implementing this system, we do not have to be afraid of bots signing up as you really have to play for your Smilo tokens. Also, if you lose all of your XSM, it’s not the end of the world, you can just start farming the rookie server again.
Nevertheless, once a set amount of XSM has been given away, the Rookie bonus will decrease. Its amount will be made clearly visible. This way new players can always join without escalating the amount of XSM that needs to be injected in the servers. Moreover, due to this system, kids and minors can join the games as well.
